The Atlas of Us

Understand each other properly, and stop having the same fight.

Most couples learn each other one argument at a time. Skip that. Your atlas reads both your palms, both your birth charts and both your numbers, and gives you 120 pages on how the two of you work: money, family, desire, what you're building, and how to make up fast after a fight.

  • Fight less, make up faster. Know how each of you starts a row and what you each do in the first ten minutes. Eight ways back, agreed before you need them.
  • Get on the same page about money. A money roadmap read from both charts at once, plus family, desire and what you're building.
  • See the hard years coming. Both your lives on one map, with the years that test a couple marked.
  • Reconnect this week. A seven-day practice and thirty days written for the two of you.

Get all of it in your atlasFrom … for both of you

The two of you, a year from now

    The next disagreement

It ends in ten minutes instead of a weekend, because you both know what sets the other off and what brings them back.

    The money talk

You have it on a Sunday morning with the roadmap open, and for once it ends with a plan instead of a sulk.

    A slow Sunday

Coffee, one book about the two of you, and each of you reading the other's pages out loud.

    Your tenth anniversary

The same book comes off the shelf, and you see how far you've come since the first read.

A few lines from our sample atlas

From the Atlas of Us we made for a sample couple, Sofia and Daniel. Yours is written from your own hands and your own birthdays.

Daniel and Sofia agree one wordless signal in advance, a lamp left on or a picture sent by message, and using it means the sender is back. Nobody has to find words.

    How you come back

What is missing is someone who will say, at some point, that the cushion is big enough and the rest can be used.

    The roadmap: money

Daniel's wanting tends to show the moment it arrives, and in words. Sofia's is there all along and comes out in almost anything except words.

    The roadmap: desire

A shared job gives closeness with no agenda and an ending built in.

    What's in the 120 pages

It opens with a chapter on each of you, your palms and your chart. Then it puts you side by side, and ends with plans for the two of you. Eight parts, in order.

    Two people first

Ten-odd pages on each of you, your hands, your chart, your eye and your numbers.

    Where you meet

How your elements mix, and your Western and Eastern signs side by side.

    Two skies

Your birth charts laid over each other, every contact between your planets, and the chart you make together.

    Four hands

All four palms next to each other, the shape of each hand and then the lines.

    The roadmap

Money, family, desire and what you're building, read from both charts at once.

    Repair

How you two fight, and eight ways you find your way back to each other.

    The living atlas

A seven-day practice, thirty days together, and a map of the years ahead.

    A philosophy of us

A short closing essay about the two of you, and a few lines worth keeping.

Why couples keep it on the bedside table

The Four hands part opener: two palms drawn in fine line under one arc
    1. Written about the two of you, and nobody else

General relationship advice is written for everyone. This is written from your four hands and your two birthdays, so it talks about your fights, your money and your plans.

    2. Start the night it arrives

Part six is called Repair: how you two fight, what sets each of you off and eight ways back. Part seven is a seven-day practice and thirty days together. You can start the evening it arrives.

    3. No score, no verdict

There's no compatibility percentage and nothing that tells you whether to stay. You get a specific read on how you two work, the easy bits and the tricky ones, and what to do with them.

    4. The anniversary present you both use

A hardback with both your names on the cover. It costs about what dinner out does, and you'll open it again every time you two get stuck. Weddings, anniversaries, the first flat together.

The wedding present they'll still be using in ten years

Every other guest brings a toaster. You bring a book about how the two of them work, with a practice for their first month and a map of the years ahead. Buy their edition, then choose how the invitation reaches them; each of them adds their own photos in ten minutes.

The printed gift card: the engraved moon from the cover and their name, beside its envelope

    …

    The printed card

Their invitation on a heavy square card: two moons from the cover and both their names on the front, your note and their QR code on the back. Posted to you with an envelope, so you can hand it over on the day. See the card

The invitation open on a phone: a gift from Daniel, all paid for

    Free

    The email invitation

We email them their invitation as soon as you have paid. Or take a private link and send it yourself, whenever you like.

You choose right after paying, and they never see the price.

    What people ask us

The answers couples look for most. Anything else, email hello@atlasandguide.com and a person writes back.

One of us isn't into astrology. Will it still work?

Yes. No belief required. You get a straight read on how each of you argues, spends, wants and comes back, and a plan to work on together. Read the pages that land out loud.

Can I fill in my partner's details?

Yes. Add theirs straight after yours and you're both done in one go, or send them a link so they can do their own on their phone.

Do we need our birth times?

They help, but they're not essential. Give your best guess or leave it blank, and the book works around it.

    What photos do you need?

Six each, all on your phone: both palms, each hand from the side, a selfie and one eye. We check each one as you add it. They're only used to make your book, and one email deletes them.

    Is there a compatibility score?

No. You get a specific read on how you two work, and it never tells you whether to stay together.

    How long does it take?

Ten minutes each. Then we make the book, print it to order and post it; the ebook comes as a file. If you're working to an anniversary, email hello@atlasandguide.com first and we'll tell you if we can make the date.

Can we buy it as a gift for another couple?

Yes. You'll need their birth details and photos, or we send them a link and they add their own.

    Stop guessing about each other

From …, both of you in one book. Ten minutes each tonight, and the map of how you two work is underway.
